Talent Crunch HY1 2026: Six Months in Numbers
Six months into 2026, our reach is up 331%. Every new follower earned, not bought
By Talent Crunch - Berlin · 2026-07-02

At the end of 2025, we cleaned our Instagram. Removed bots. Removed inactive accounts. Started 2026 with roughly 588 real followers.
Six months later, reach is up 331%. Every new follower earned, not bought.
We did the same with how we run things.
New CRM.
New website.
A team.
Infrastructure that a growing community deserves but rarely gets.
This is what the first half of 2026 looked like for Talent Crunch, broken down by channel and backed by the data. No fluff, no rounding up, no vibes-only metrics.

What people said (shared with permission):
"The workshop was extremely well prepared and while it was easy to follow for participants that might not be AI native, it also brought useful insights for the people already using AI intensively."
"Very well organised, intimate event. Delish food and amazing atmosphere. No pretentiousness."
"Andreea is a natural at bringing people together and fostering a good energy."
"Hat mich mal wieder sehr gefreut. Das Format ist einfach klasse und verbindet Inhalte, Share and Growth und Networking perfekt."
"I love that it's practical and applicable!"
The constructive feedback was just as specific: tighter workshop timekeeping, more breakout choices, clearer agendas for paid workshops. We read all of it. We use all of it.
We added 1,398 new organic followers in HY1 2026, reaching over 7,000 total. Every single one organic. Zero sponsored.
233,000+ impressions across 128 posts
47,000+ clicks

Two posts crossed 10,000 impressions: one on the EU AI Act's impact on hiring, the other analysing salary benchmarks
The audience
54.1% Berlin-based (up from 42.5% in 2025)
39.3% in Human Resources
72.7% Senior-level or above (up from 62.6% in 2025)

How we compare
Over the past 12 months, against the only other DACH-based talent communities LinkedIn page:
15x more posts published
32x more comments received
31x more reactions received
2.4x more new followers gained

We cleaned this account at the end of 2025. Removed bots and inactive followers. Started January at roughly 588 real followers.
659 followers today (+12.1%)
56,617 views (83.2% organic)
10,855 accounts reached (+331% vs previous period)
1,937 interactions (99.3% organic)
42.5% of views came from non-followers discovering the content
The follower count is small.
The reach and engagement are not. 331% growth in accounts reached, almost entirely without paid promotion, tells us the content works. We are building this channel the slow way and the numbers are responding.

Newsletter
We moved to Brevo as our GDPR-compliant CRM and sent 7 newsletters to (an original number of) 4,304 recipients.
69.4% open rate (industry average: 20 to 25%)
14.3% click rate (industry average: 2 to 3%)
0.8% unsubscribe rate
That is roughly 3x the industry open rate and 5x the click rate.
People open this newsletter because they trust the sender. They click because the content gives them something they can use.
Slack
The Talent Crunch Slack community now has 950+ members.
In the coming weeks, we are merging Talking Talent into our workspace, bringing the total past 2,100 members. That will make this the largest dedicated talent practitioner Slack community in Germany.
The conversations are daily: open roles, salary benchmarking, tool recommendations, career advice, support through hiring freezes, celebrating new jobs. This is where the community lives between events.
What We Built Behind the Numbers
The first half of 2026 was an infrastructure half. None of this makes a headline, but all of it makes what comes next possible.
New website launched, all blog posts and resources migrated
Brevo CRM implemented for GDPR-compliant email marketing
Crunchers in Motion launched to spotlight community members open to roles
Talent Spotlight restarted to profile individuals in the community
A team. Jessica (freelance), Oliver, Azzurra and Tomris are on board. Marlucio and Isabel are joining soon. For a community that ran on one person's energy for over a year, this changes the trajectory.
WeAreDevelopers official partnership, including Talent Clinics at their conference
Long-term sponsor contracts signed
Paid workshops launched with expert facilitators
Coworking days introduced as a new format
Thank You
Every number on this page exists because someone showed up. Registered for an event. Left feedback. Joined the Slack. Shared a post. Brought a colleague.
To the 475 people who walked through the door in the first half of this year: you are the community. The data just confirms what you already built by being there.
HY2 2026 is coming. More events. New formats. A bigger Slack. And as always, the same standard: practical, inclusive and no nonsense.
See you there.
Andreea
