The power of Talent lies in its collective strength.
Last THU and FRI (10th and 11th of July 2025) at Messe Berlin, something rather special happened 😍.
Amidst the buzz of 18,000 attendees at the HR Leaders Summit and WeAreDevelopers Congress, 35 talented professionals from our community rolled up their sleeves to support over 200 job seekers through our Talent Clinics initiative.
A massive shout-out goes to our supporters Ivana Spiridonovic, Rudi Bauer and Kevin Katzbeck from the WeAreDevelopers universe — they helped us make this possible 🚀.
The concept was quite simple: experienced talent professionals offering 30-minute, one-to-one career consultations across 5 dedicated tables.
What emerged was a bit more profound than we''d anticipated.
The Numbers
Our post-event survey told a clear story.
Satisfaction levels
- 82% of participants rated their session as "Extremely helpful"
- 18% found it "Helpful"
- 0% reported dissatisfaction
100% would recommend the Talent Clinics to others.
Talent Partner performance
- 58% of participants gave their Talent Partner the highest rating (1 — Really Good)
- 42% gave ratings of 2–3 — room for growth, but still positive experiences
Most sought-after support: CV writing and LinkedIn reviews dominated requests, appearing in 91% of sessions, often combined with career strategy discussions and interview preparation.
Their words, not ours
The feedback speaks volumes about genuine value delivered.
"Resume is an advertisement, not a history" — capturing the mindset shift many experienced.
"The recommendation to be more intentional about applications and look for more cultural alignment between the company and myself was so so helpful."
"My perspective to look at my CV and what others look for in me totally changed."
"Detailed feedback on actionable ways to improve my CV based on what recruiters are seeing and their perspective."
Perhaps most tellingly, people valued the human connection:
"How to deal with anxiety and how to accept rejection and come back! Different frameworks to overcome negativity and feeling low and lost in the competitive world."
👋 The humans who made it happen

Behind the success
It wasn''t all smooth sailing 😌.
Calendar booking systems had their moments (as they do), creating stress for everyone involved. It happens. We wouldn''t have a story to tell otherwise.
What carried us through was our community''s resilience and communication. Between the dedicated Slack channel, the WhatsApp community, and countless emails, we kept everyone informed and supported.
Our 35 volunteers showed up with patience, expertise, and genuine care for helping others navigate their career challenges.
Are we better than AI? Hell YES.
